Wow. i bet that title gave you all kinds of expectations... what it should say is "lack of something to talk about"? i don't really have any intentions for this post other than to fell like i am doing something for the few who actually read my blog.
we had a really fun weekend, dave's mom and stepdad came down for a visit from canada. it is always a hoot when they visit, the kids love them, and Gaylen keeps me rolling in laughter the entire time. He loves to tease the kids, and its so funny, cuz they're not quite sure what to make of it....
Pat taught us how to make butterhorns, a secret family recipe that you may or may not be lucky enough to try if dave and i can ever recreate it... completely tasty, that's all i can say.
*random moment of interjection* something smells good, cant figure out what it is... my hair, my shirt, eek, not the couch! not sure, something that doesn't smell like me, but i like it... does that say something about how i smell? lol.
we went down to dave's sisters house yesterday. we had found a chair on freecycle that was close to where she lived so we took a trip, got an awesome chair FOR FREE for all the new space in my clean bedroom. at tricia and pauls we make some yummy pizza, and they shared some truly delicious pepper jelly, which is completely addicting, and slightly surprising because i really am not fond of peppers, but i guess the japalenos ( i know im spelling that wrong, but thats how i SAY it jap-a-lee-nos) jalapenos i have been corrected by the spell checker, i dont know they just get to me. i love the stuff. may have to consider even learning how to make some...
so when we went to pick up the chair we left the cushion there, so we went back later to pick it up and they offered up this awesome end table they had and wanted to get rid of. SCORE! i love freecycle.
well, my kids have discovered that i am here not paying attention to them so now there is an incessant whining in my ear...till later....

You're a nut. I'm coming over to see your new chair, K? Okay, see you in 7 minutes... (I timed it once.)
